Founders

Damian and Vicky Parker started EPPC back in 2008, feeling that the Great British Expat community in the US deserved more from a pie than the usual unappealing, unappetising attempts at British fare on the market. 

Both Damian and Vicky are passionate about British food and wanted to change the US perception of the ‘Bland British cuisine’ to enlighten the US to the varied tastes and flavors of Great British food.  Vicky moved over to the US in 2000 with her parents, but went back to the UK for University where she met Damian whilst studying the same degree Accountancy and Law.  Whist attending University Damian was a keen gamekeeper in his spare time and often went on grouse shoots and deer stalking which entered him into the Butcher world.  A family friend butchers in West Yorkshire trained Damian in the art of pie making along with sausages and bacon and shared his age old family butchers recipes with him to bring over to the US. 

After graduating University Vicky went to work at the Head office of Morrisons Supermarket and Damian went to work for Marshalls as an Accountant and got married in 2007.  Damian wanted a change in lifestyle, so the young couple decided to move to the US to start the English Pork Pie Company, selling everything they had with the vision of bringing true authentic British products to America, importing all the seasonings from the UK and only using the finest ingredients. 

Before leaving England Damian and Vicky traveled the length and breadth of the UK hunting down the highest quality pork pies and meat pies available to ensure that the English Pork Pie Company pies would be the most authentic and scrumptious pies available.
